We hosted our first ever art exhibition! The installation encompassed the whole and true voice spoken by our community, in a beautiful celebration of new found relationships and reconnections to the creative self.

Building on the success of our drawing groups, we launched another calendar of workshops that allowed participants to refine their artistic, writing and musical skills in preparation for a live showcase.

Thanks to Arts Council England, Sugar Stealers were able to curate a calendar of workshops that focused on drawing, print-making, textiles, writing, performance and more. Our drawing workshops really took off!

We wanted to celebrate all the incredible women that have made our space such a wonderful place to be, so we organised a whole day of workshops, live music and fund raising. It was a great day.

They spoke and we listened! Combining some of our communities most favourite activities, we created a 2 month calendar of wellbeing workshops that included tap dancing & DJ-ing.

We started the year of right by offering our growing community a 1 month calendar full of in-person wellbeing workshops. With everything from origami to boxing on the menu, this month went down a treat!

To kick off our in-person workshops we hosted a Winter Warmer event which offered a full day of wellbeing activities including poetry, tie dye, yoga and more - all of which were funded by The National Lottery and The Peoples Health Trust.

Our first ever project was funded by The National Lottery. We delivered 1 month of online women’s wellbeing workshops in everything from cooking to dancing.

With our established group of artists, we held an art and poetry exhibition in celebration of International Women’s Day! The project explored themes of home, identity and heritage through a multitude of artistic mediums.
