DANCING THROUGH THE AGES

From March-August, musical theatre performer and new mama Molly-May Gardiner will be gracing us with a series of free dance workshops.

The classes will be consecutive, dedicating 4 weeks at a time to exploring different era’s and styles of dance.

You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in themed social evenings and a celebration party.

Key Details

Mama’s Dance Class: Wednesday mornings from 11am-12:30pm.

Mum’s with and without babies are welcome to join. If you are bringing your baby, please also bring a carter for your chest or a seat if you wish to put them down. The studio is only accessible via stairs so push chairs will not be able to access the studio space, but if empty can be temporarily stored on the lower level of the building.

Get A Wiggle On: Wednesday evenings from 6pm-8pm.

All women and gender expansive people can come and learn dance steps and routines from a variety of eras and genres.

Themed Socials: Every 4th Wednesday evening from 8pm-10pm.

Dance along to a themed mix of music from each era and practice your dance moves.

Celebration Event: Saturday 9th August 1pm - 5pm

Join Molly-May in a final celebration of all the dance styles. You might even want to dress up for this one! [wink wink]

The workshops will be delivered at: Fisher Gate Point, 3 Fisher Gate, Nottingham, NG1 1GD

You must be 18+ to attend these sessions, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

There is a cafe and bar on site that serves food and a good coffee if you fancy lunch afterwards.

We advise that you wear comfy clothes and shoes for each session, and attend as often as possible to make the most of the 4 week themed classes and socials.

You can attend as many classes as you like, however, spaces are limited so please only sign up if you are definitely available to attend.
